Growth that Works for Regina Coronation Park
I seek Saskatchewan Party nomination for Regina Coronation Park to ensure our constituency continues to benefit fully from the growth that works for everyone in our province. This means record investment in the Saskatchewan people and economy:
- More people, more jobs, more opportunities in our province
- More doctors, more nurses, more surgeries completed on time
- More students, more schools, more affordable child care
- More support for seniors, for young people, for people with disabilities
- Affordable housing, safer families and safer communities
I'm going to the Legislative Assembly to fight to ensure that Regina Coronation Park's interests are protected and that it continues to benefit fully from:
- $249.1 million of targeted funding for First Nations and Métis people and organizations, which includes funding for economic initiatives and partnerships.
- $3.1 billion record investment in K-12 Education to ensure students have access to high quality education no matter where they live in the province, families are supported with accessible, affordable child care, and libraries can continue to offer meaningful services.
- $764.8 million in the post-secondary education sector, an increase of $24.5 million or 3.3 per cent.
- $6.867 billion record level of health care funding, including $518 million for mental health and addictions programs and services, including a $12.4 million increase for targeted initiatives.
- $98.8 million for the Health Human Resource action plan to recruit, train, incentivize and retain health care workers.
- $42.5 million more to reduce the surgical waitlist to pre-pandemic levels a year ahead of schedule.
- $39 million increase to support seniors' care, including $5.5 million for an additional 75 continuing care aide positions.
- $1.7 billion for social services and assistance, including an additional $26.6 million in benefits to support people.
- $382.4 million for childcare, reducing child care fees to $10 a day for children under six years of age.
- $1.5 million to expand the number of apprenticeship training seats available to 4,450.
