The City of Regina's spring street sweep is underway! This important program helps clean and beautify our city by removing leaves, sand, and debris from streets, boulevards, and sidewalks.

The sweep will take place in two phases, lasting about 10 weeks in total (weather permitting). The first phase began on April 8th and focuses on major roads and high-density areas like Harbour Landing, General Hospital, Downtown, and Cathedral.

Important Notice for Parked Vehicles: Cars left parked in no-parking zones during street sweeping will be ticketed $120 and towed. Be sure to follow all posted signage to avoid getting towed.

Safety Reminders

  • Street sweepers can create dust clouds that reduce visibility. Please close your windows and use alternate sidewalks if necessary.
  • When encountering street sweepers, give them plenty of space, slow down, and proceed with caution.
